Need Help To ID Apistogramma

I was sold this fish as an Apistogramma but they did not know what kind. I have had it for at least 6 months and can't tell if it is male or female or what species it is. It is approximately 2 inches long and has very little coloration to it, just some pale green/blue in the belly and yellowish fins. If anyone can tell me what it is and what sex. I would appreciate it. I really would like to get another one so it has a friend/mate.

It's not Apistogramma at all. It's young Laetacara curviceps I think.

Piotr is right. It's one of the small species of the Genus Laetacara, but the photos are too small to recognize the species or sex.

The photos are very small, but I think they are more likely a Laetacara dorsigera variant.
