Need help Id Please

I bought some apistogramma baenschi from a reputable source but I inside the batch à order I have a male female who are breeding but they are not beanschi for sure! I don’t now what they could be?

The first two are very likely some A. cf. ortegai, which one exactly... pass. The male looks a lot like the male I had.
The third also has some ortegai-characteristics, but something's off.

Yes, I believe MacZ is correct. Based on what I see in the photos they might be A. ortegai or A. cf. ortegai (Pebas). More/better photos showing the shape of the caudal patch would really help.

Especially the third, definitely looks like a younger version of the a. Ortegai 'Pebas' that I have

Nice photos of the male but they don't show the caudal patch very well. I'm sure photos of the female would be more diagnostic.

Yes, I'm fairly sure that you have A. cf. ortegai (Pebas). Caudal patch and the female showing more than 2 lateral spots are correct for this species.
