Is there any difficulty/concerns keeping/breeding Apistogramma at High Altitudes, like 8000 feet & above?
I live in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana, just above Yellowstone National Park. My Home resides at 8000 Altitude.
Given that most all Apistogramma live at or near Sea Level, should I expect problems?
Should I forget trying to keep Apistogramma altogether?
I haven't kept any fish since moving to Montana over 12 years ago.
My health is Poor & I recently had to give up my Dog because I find it hard to get someone to take care of Her whenever I might need Hospitalization.
I figure Fish could be on their own for a few days without problems. I live alone & need a companion, as kooky as that may sound.
Any suggestions, Guru or Not are appreciated.
