Planned to take some photos of Apistogramma sp. Wangenfleck female today ended up taking photos of her tankmates Nannostomus eques.

Incredible shots! What a unique looking fish. How long have you kept them for? Do they spawn in captivity?

Nannostomus eques is a relay peaceful fish. I have had these almost a year now. They do spawn in captivity, but none has survived in my tank, so far. To many predators and to few hiding places.
The last couple of weeks iv added more floating plants in the tank to increase the survival chance for the fry.
