Well,
looks like i'm going to get to give em' a try. I have a pair out on loan from a friend. I intoduced them into a tank which is 50% rain, and 50% tap. Wish me luck! I'll have some pics of them as soon as they settle in.

All I can say is good luck! This is a great fish, and one of my favorite Nanochromis (tied w/ transvestitus). The hobby needs more demidiatus. I've never been able to get my hands on any ! :cry:

I think i have eggs....the female is all holed up in a cave (a halved flowerpot) she has constructed a large ridge of sand around the mouth, and the male is guarding. Hopefully.........
