Whilst tidying the shed yesterday, I came across an old 24" tank I had forgotten about.
One good cleaning session later, and I have a perfectly serviceable tank. I already have a spare filter and heater, so some sand, a couple of plants and some coconut shells later, and I'm off to the lfs.
Plan was to get some Rams, but one look at the Tripple Red Cacs they had in and I was convinced. Especially when they threw in a third for free. Couldn't tell if the female was a juvenile male, so just in case, I got a definate female as well. I love my lfs. (Of course if it does turn out to be another male, I know I will have to seperate them).
Seem to of settled in really well, and aren't at all shy.
Will the do better with more plants, or should I stick to hiding spaces and open area?
Cheers.
Ian.
