Wow, nice female!
Now I see, the male is verrry similiar to specimens which are called 'A. sp. Forkband' (showed in CA2):)

Piotrek>>>

P.S. Do you find any problems with acquiring Mendezis?

Thanks. Again, many hobbyists and myself believe that A. sp. forkband is probably nothing more than 1 kind of mendezi. :)

mendezi is quite wide-spread in Hong Kong now, but the ones (orange belly)
as shown in the photo are still not that easy to find ^.^

She looks like my female agassizi except for her lower fins below her gills.. How do you tell the difference ?

haha,, first, when she is NOT in this mood, she looks very different from the aggie. Second, the patterns of her caudal fin and belly strips are all different from aggie... one more photo :)

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
