double red agassizii i think its a female but some one said it may be a male. It chases my orange cockatoo male round and now he hides . can anyone help?
This is a (wild) female A. agassizii from the Rio Galvez, Peru.
It differs from your fish by having
- much less blue markings in the face,
- a caudal fin with a different shape and without any pattern,
- no extensions in the posterior parts of the dorsal and anal fin like in your male.
