I know this question has been asked so many times, but this pair come into the country through a reasonably reputable source, i have done some reading and to me it is looking good that they might be Viejita (slender body compared to mac, no points on the tail etc) but i thought i would leave the final say to the experts
These fish have set me back alot of $$$ but if they are Viejita, i will look at getting another pair

They look like young A. macmasteri to me. It looks like the male will have a nice red shoulder stripe when it gets older. All wild true A. viejita have red tips on the male's dorsal fin.
