Juvenile Geophagus sold as Mikrogeophagus. Is it a red head tapajos, megasema or something else?

Here's the guy (?) in a bare bottom qt. Later on I moved him into a better qt tank with parameters more suitable for SAs.

That guy is somewhat territorial and tend to ignore angelfish. He's about 3". Not sure if he was wild caught or not, but I tend to buy mainly by catch/contaminants from said LFS so it's quite possible he's wild.

I'll be moving him into a 55g biotope a week earlier because I feel a 20g don't give enough territory for him temporarily. Figuring out what species he is would be essential so I could give him better care! Thanks in advance.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
