Just got my apistogramma borellii yee haw! I asked the shop to get me 3 females and a male.
Went in to see whats new & hes got 6 borellii - wasnt 100% sure on the sex of them as they were hiding a lot but I saw what I thought was 4 females and 2 males.
Decided to take them all working on the fact that once they are settled, I can remove the two fish (or more) that I dont need.
Looks like i've actually got three of each. The ones I suspect as females are a brilliant yellow colouration towards the head/middle body. The suspect males are smaller and are not displaying any yellow colouration at all.
The plan is to remove two of the males in a few weeks once they have all settled in and I can id them easier.
I'll get some pics taken after a couple of days.
