This is just a wild thought. But I have a small planted aquarium - it is low light, java fern and java moss. It would have a pot as a cave. Would that be suitable for keeping a julidochromis or no? Thanks.
I have been keeping J. marleri "Gombi" In a fairly soft water planted tank for over 4 years. They have spawned repeatedly and have created a colony. I would not suggest a soft water tank for Julies, but there is absolutely no reason not to have a planted tank for them.
