Could you help me to identify this species?? I bought it under the name of Ap. Cruzi...

These look like young fish, although sexable. They certainly are not A. cruzi - and probably are not in the cruzi-assemblage of species. The fish do not show horizontal abdominal stripes. They appear to be a species in the regani-group, however. The female shows faint vertical stripes on the tail fin. This is unusual in regan-groups species,most commonly seen in species of the caetei-, Xingu- and regani-complexes. The male shows the light-colored area between the end of the lateral band and the caudal spot that is typical of members of the regani-complex. Looking at the fish, I would say that you have A. geisleri, probably the Smaragd/Emerald form from around Óbidos, Brazil.

charon, where did you get them from? Did you buy it from "Shark":biggrin: wholeseller or from a new wholeseller in Rybnik?

I bought them from a new wholeseller in Rybnik... On saturday, I'll turn them back to him :mad: I have this species in another tank...
