Yes, a great fish for a planted aquarium. I haven't seen/kept them in more than 30 years. A smaller, more mild species than the common Serpae Tetra (Hypessobrycon eques).

Lovely fish Chris but you've put one of my pet hates in the thread title - capitalising the specific latin name!!! Sorry to be pedantic but I've just been writing a job applications and marking some kids work and I'm all in the mood to be picky!!!

It shouldn't be more difficult that Serpaes. This fish comes from the Rio Araguaia, which has very soft, slightly acid water.
