How many dwarf neon rainbow fish

Although rainbows prefer to live in schools of 6 or more, I don't think that many would do well in your small aquarium. They are very active fish after all. I would think that 3-4 might be maximum. Of course you could cram in more with proper filtration and water management but the fish would not be happy.
