I'd suggest: Put mom in one bag, dad in another bag, and kids in a third bag (or bucket, jar, etc) for transport. Release mom and kids into your tank first (dad can watch from his bag). Release dad 5 min later after mom and kids have reunited. What you dont want is mom "blaming" dad for disappearance of their kids.

It's still possible they may eat the kids, so if you absolutely have to save this batch of young, keep most of them in a separate tank and leave some (10 or more) with mom and dad in their new tank to help keep them from fighting.

If you can, I would not place the fry in the new tank with the parents. Since they are free swimming you can raise them separate from the parents. The process of moving that group may disturb the parents enough that they no longer care for the fry.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
