how do i clean glass diffuser

can anyone tell me how to clean a glass ceramic diffuser used for co2. its got some white slime like stuff on it. what is this stuff anyways? i've heard about using bleach buy not much of a step by step of how to do it. what kind of bleach to use? thanks.

Use a scent-free chlorine bleach. I usually add 1/4 cup of bleach to about a quart of hot water and then soak the diffusers in them. If you can draw water backwards through the diffuser, pushing the bleach solution in and out of the diffuser will really clean it out.

You can just pour the bleach onto the ceramic disc and it will clean it. I've also used Hydrogen peroxide and that was superb at cleaning it too.
