I just recently picked up a trio 1.2 of A. cacatuoides. These are the first Apistos I've worked with, and I'm wondering why it took me so long. My wife is a nurse in the U.S. Army and stationed in Landstuhl, Germany not too far from Trier, Germany which is where Dr. Uwe Römer teaches. I'm very captivated by this species, and hope to learn from and share with this forum.

Welcome! Are you and your fish in Germany? Always interesting to see the differences in methods of fish keeping and the species available between different regions of the world.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
