Hemichromis sp.

Hi all,
In the Linke & Staeck Cichlids from West Africa there is a picture of a Hemichromis sp. and i would like to know what fish it actualy is. Its a realy nice looking fish and i would realy appreciate if anyone could identify this for me. The fish is on page 77.

Hemichromis sp. "Guinea I"

Hello Bobby,

The photo on p. 77 of Linke & Staeck's book depicts Hemichromis sp. "Guinea I." This species is found in the Kolente River system in Guinea and has been sold in the trade as H. sp. "Kolente River" and H. sp. "Limbun" before. It's a somewhat smaller Hemichromis species that does well in soft water.
