Bought these as diplotaenia when young but obviously they are not any help would be appreciated

Hi!

My guess is you got two different species and yes, you are right. It’s not diplotaenia. I think the one in the first picture is a male a. Erythura. Not sure about the other one, but it’s a male as far as i can see.
