Yes mike! there are some patterns on the tail....its about 4cm now, there's no black markings on the ventral fin too....I'm really confused with its true identity
Since it shows the abdominal band below the lateral band, and it has a pattern on the caudal fin, I am fairly certain that it is a young male A. bitaeniata.
This guy is showing colors on his dorsal today, starting from the body, its showing layers of blue, yellow and red....and also exhibits clearly 2 lateral bands when he's flaring too :biggrin:
