Hello everyone

I have only recently, less than a month in fact started keeping 1 male and 2 female Apistogramma Cacatuoides "Orange Flash", in my community aquarium.
within 5 days of having them.. the male and one of the females paired off, and spawned leaving about 30 - 50 eggs, I wrongly decided to leave the female to guard her cave and eggs. Next day all the eggs had gone.
A few days later they had more eggs, and they have now hatched ... ive counted about 20 babies, now a about 1+ week old in mesh breeding net with the female looking after them ;P

im planning on moving them to their own aquarium.

Cheers John

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
