Hello guys, I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I have a 240l black water community tank, pH 6,6, setted up to dwarf cichlids. It's not a biotope aquarium, just a community tank with acid and soft water, and tea coloured with tannins. Actually, I have on it 1 Apistogramma cacatuoides orange, 2 Mikrogeophagus altispinosus, and 1 Dicrossus maculatus, and their tank mates. And, 2 Mikrogeophagus ramirezi, a normal one and a golden one, at a quarantine tank. I'm trying to find the different cichlids species in the shops and with regional breeders, but looks like I'll need to buy them on internet.

Welcome. It is too bad that Apisto Heaven is no longer in business. Marco collect, bred and exported many amazing apistos out of Rio. Many that we no longer see.
