Dear all,
I am new to aquarium and new to the dwarf cichlid, although my brother had had some success with them while we were young ;-)
I know own a 96 liter (25 gl?) aquarium and just got a pair of ramirezi last week. I would love your help in sexing them as I am unable to make sure one of the two is a female or not...
Some photos of the two and the one I want to ask you for advice on its sex.
Also, are these classic German Blue Ram or some other variant?

Thanks Gillie. Any indication how you find out? The one I am uncertain for does not have the third dorsal fin higher. I guess then this, as other ways to differentiate, is not a sure pick... Is it the general body shape that lead you to the conclusion?

Those are two normal german rams.
