Im looking to set up my fish rack and I’m wondering if it would be cheaper to run a space heater instead of individual heaters for each apistogramma tank it would be many small heaters.

I hate aquarium heaters. They are just too unreliable. I have a fish room with insulated walls and its own thermostat on the home's heating system. On 3-tank-high stands the water varies only minimally from top to bottom tanks. Cost-wise the use of an electric space heater probably won't be much different from using aquarium heaters.
