Hello everyone,

My name is Rory and i live in Belgium.
I've been keeping fish for almost 23 years now. Had community tanks, species tanks and i'm collecting things for my first reef tank now.
There is just one thing keeping me very passionate about freshwater tanks. Dwarf cichlids. I just love them.
The way they interact with you and other fish is just brilliant.
Here is a pic of my apistogramma agassizii pair i had in the past.

Welcome Rory,
I got my aquarium start in the Netherlands with Aequidens (now Laetacara) curviceps as my first dwarf cichlid but never made it to Apistos at that time. Now I have a dozen or so species and half of them are breeding. Like you I love their personalities and the interactions amongst themselves and with other species. Nothing beats seeing a proud mom appear with a new flock of fry and guarding her young like a lioness.
