Got these Cacs on Thursday. She's already yellowing up and he is displaying to her.

I started with orange flash, my wife loves these little guys.

Got the pair 1 week ago. I havnt seen the female for three days and she briefly appeared today. Looks like she must hve eggs/wriggler/fry in the back That was quick.

Nice colours on your male - I got a pair about a month ago my female has conditioned and coloured up to a intense yellow / black but my male seems quite washed out still and doesn't have the distinct black bars yours has..but he's getting there

Update.

She has been guarding the fry for a while but brought them out today. Plenty of room in the 24" tank for the male to be safe.

What great interactive little fish for a small tank.
