Do Apistos Triple red caucs. to be specific breed while there are fry in the tank?
I have a few fry left over from the previous spawn that are about 5 weeks old and it looks like the female is trying to entice the male again.

Hi all,
I've had multiple generations of A. cacatuoides in quite a small tank, but one with lots of cover and structure. You won't get many of the young fry surviving if there are older fry as they will eat them, even if the adults don't.

cheers Darrel

In this case, i found very useful to have lot of leaves (oak, Terminalia) in the tank. They form layers and, between the layers, lot of fries feels secure.
