fish collecting season in the amazon

can anyone tell me in what months fish are colected in brasil?

Don't know exactly, but a local discus expert had a presentation
a few months ago which shows discus being collected, and it was
during / just after the rainy season - since the water level was quite
high.

Our Winter is their dry season, which is when most collecting takes place. I hear October is a good month to go.
