Hello everyone. Today, I found my apistogramma allpahuayo laid eggs a few days ago. There are a bunch of wrigglers. Just wanted to share my excitement with all of you. Hatched at around 6.8-7 PH, 100 TDS. Sorry for the blurry picture, the breeder box is inside the tank.

Why are they in a breeder box? If you want to make sure they make it leaving them with the mother would be probably the better option.

Well I messed up then. I thought pulling was a good option.. What can I do now? I feel bad. I guess next time I'll transfer mom and her eggs into her own tank by using a hut.

They will likely spawn again in a couple of weeks - you can try and see if the eggs you have will hatch or return them to the aquarium. Occasionally the mother will take them back.

They are already wrigglers, do I still put them back?

I'd try about 1/2 them and see if the mother will take them back.... if she doesn't you still have other half you can try to raise - also start hatching bbs ;)

Or you can put them all back and see if she will take them back knowing she will likely spawn again in a few weeks if she doesn't.

Ok, thanks. Do I put them near her cave? Or try to get inside of it.

Hi I didn’t know if you still have any of the Apistogramma Cuipeua?
Would be interested if so.
