Fire red Aggie crossed with Blue pearl?

Is this possible? will the fry just be a "wild type" coloration?

It depends. Are the Blue Pearl A. agassizii or A. sp. Tefé?

They are agassizii

If they are both forms/strains of A. agassizii, then they should breed together like any other forms of A. agassizii. What the offspring will look like is anyone's guess. I will say that highly inbred color strains usually don't survive crossing very well.

for what its worth they laid eggs...I will update this thread as it goes.

They were in the tank together for less than 48 hours
