Hi All Im Finally getting a collection together I just purchased some A. bitaeniata from Jeff Aquaticclarity and there due to arrive some time tomorrow. I currently Have A.cacatuoides dble red and orange flash ,A baenschi getting a wild female from Jeff tomorrow. I actually Needing help and tips on breeding the Bits and baenschi I have set up 2 tanks a 10 gal and a 20 gal we have had some decent rain so I set the tanks up with 100% fresh rain water oak leaves and almond leaves drift wood java moss guppy grass and ricca with 2 caves in each i do not have a ph or tds meter but my guess is ph is probably low-mid 6ph probably around 22ppm gh and kh probably less I had a pr of baenschi but lost female (hence getting new female)but they spawned a few times but never got fry I was using my tap water. Im hoping the new set ups will be advantageous Here are the new set ups below also If anybody has gotten the A.bitaeniata reds from Jeff if you have a pic i would love to see them
