Generally, they turn an extremely vibrant shade of yellow. If they are actually laying eggs, they'll often dissapear for a few days into a breeding cave at this point. But they'll turn yellow before that...

I really apreciate this mechanism. When female is yellow - she's ready. When she is yellow and she chase male - she is guarding eggs :)
