got a pair of these cool little fish yesterday.
the female has a mouth full of eggs atm so fingers crossed they live.
she actually kept them in her mouth all the way home in the bag and even when released into the tank
the only problem is she wont eat till she has released the fry so she is looking pretty skinny atm.

Hi all,
Very nicely coloured male. As you've probably found about by now, they may only be little, but they can be extremely aggressive when they have eggs or young.

They pop up again in Aus. Do you know if they are through a wholesaler or local bred?

yeah he's chasing her around a bit, but nothing too bad so far and hope to get a cpl more females today ?
the only other things in that tank are a few low grade CRS i dont really want anyway :wink:

managed to get another 2 females today, both holding eggs.
