According to Anton Lamboj's book, casuarius has 'dark scales with light margins' and gibbiceps has 'light scales with dark margins'. I have never seen a gibbiceps in person, but based on pictures I would say that it probably does not get as black as a casuarius.
Ok, then mine are casuarius. All of what I see up here are casuarius too. Does the gibbiceps have blue eyes too? And is it the same size? I heard about casuarius or gibs that's about 8" ( 20cm) or more! My male is about 3" and this couple is spawning ever since the mâle is aroud 2". I had them only for 5 months.
