did the deed but no go

i got my macmatseri to spawn,my ph is 7.6 gh 150 and kh 180.i know they probably like it a little softer,but anyways she ate them or something there gone,she had about 20 eggs.the pair are in a 20g with two small kribs,theyre about an inch.(the kribs).what i could i do to make the next one succesful?

I suggest removing the Kribs before they become sexually mature, lower the pH to <6.5, and soften the water by about half.
