Decapsulated BS Eggs for First Fry Food?

I have a couple of Orange flash Cac. pairs that had new babies, i missed getting BBS hatched for so while i waited for the BBS to hatch i feed them Decapsulated BS eggs that i would rehydrate in tap water before feeding. The problem came when i lost 95% of the new and 95% of the month old fry in a day. the older fry appeared to be dieing with orange bellies of the decapsulated eggs the new fry it would appear that the parents cleaned up. I was told that you can feed decapsulated eggs directly to new fry is this not correct? The decapsulated eggs where commercial and i was told that they would not hatch do to the process of decapsulating. I was using straight tap water to rehydrate could the small amount of chlorine be the killer?

It seems you didn´t follow the standard procedures for decapsulating brine shrimp.

The decapsulated BS where given to me as a sample when i purchased a 1Lb can of eggs from a BS company and i have been pretty religous about keeping the sample in the fridge.

I think the eggs were already decapsulated and only required rehydrating with water prior to feeding.....

Ive lost newly hatched fry due to feeding decapsulated brine shrimp eggs and i would not feed them to very young fry again...
I rehydrated mine in water also for quite some time but they still expanded in the gut of the fry to the point where the fry gut burst.
I dont think they are a good food for very young fry.
Im sure that the rehydration process in tap water would not have caused their death through chlorine poisoning.
