Combining multiple dwarf cichlids in a planted tank

I have a heavily planted 100 gallon / 400 L planted tank. Housing some schooling fish and a couple apistogramma nijsseni. I love dwarf cichlids and was wondering whether other people have succesfully combined dwarf cichlids. I combined apistogramma macmasteri and ramirezi's succesfull in a 750L, but my choise would be either another apisto or nannacara anomala (which I guess combines better than 2 apisto's). Anyone experience overhere?

In a properly aquascaped aquarium of this size, I see no problem with mixing apistos. Just try to choose a species with different body and fin shapes (and doesn't belong to the same species-complex).

Totally. I kept A. steindachneri and A. eunotus together successfully.
