Does anyone know why my apisto hongsloi has become darker in colour my pfp is him a few months ago

And you didn't notice the popeye and the swollen stomach? That fish is seriously ill. Also, does it still swim normally? Looks a bit like a bottomslider in that picture.

Probably too late. Waterchanges might eleviate the pressure, but once it reaches this stage there's little chance. And as I know any store will try to sell you something: Antibiotics are not advisable just as anything by eSHa is not.
