breeding signs

hi have got a pair of agassizi and was wondering what are the signs of breeding,,,,me female has been in her cave for two days now only seen her come out for a quick look then she goes straight back in, could this be the start.
am i doing things right to encourage breeding ? water change every week, good variety of food and i have a good cave and plenty of plants with a black fine gravel bottom.
any advice on breeding welcome

indeed sounds like you will become a parent soon or she is getting the sight ready for spawning. If you have a sign of sight, then grab a torch and have a quick peek at night. Your set up sounds good, water changes fine, plants as well. Wait and see what will be happening. Post some photos if you can.

my female is out and about a bit now had a god look round tank cant see no fry and she seems a lot keener on food today???????
will get some pics up of tank and fish over week end
