Morning,

My suggestion is for you to buy some coconuts, cut them in half, scrape out the flesh. Drill a hole large enough for female and possible male to get in and there you have your apisto cave. If you do not want to drill, just place in substrate so you have a small opening. cheers jk :biggrin:

As above. I wont use anything else now.
Buy a coconut and cut it in half with a normal wood saw. Use a large knife to bore a hold through.....Done. $2 + 1/2 an hours work for 2 caves.

Only tip is to cut them top to bottom rather than around the equator so the 'eyes' dont become skylights for the breeding fish.
