Here are some shots of Pel. sp. 'blue fin'. THe fry are not still carrying yolks... that's brine in their bellies!

I also got a few nicer shots of the female of a second pair getting ready to spawn. This is the deep purple this fish becomes when courting. The color goes away just as soon as the eggs are laid. It is a good indicator that a spawn has occurred. The female with the would turn purple and stay that way until the spawn.

gorgeous fish there Ted!

It was good meeting you at the GCCA swap... wish I coulda spent a little more time there shooting the breeze with you but had to get to the tables to see what was offered... I did manage to get a few things there such as Sera super peat (3boxes for $20!), more sponge filters, a few European Macmasteri pairs of which the females are absolutly stunning!!, and some tropheous chimba reds (colony of 11 for $65) & red bays (young group of 6 for $40). hope to talk more about fish soon. john

Hi John,

There was a guy there at the GCCA swap selling Pel. signatus juveniles. He also has Teleogramma brichardi growing up. I was swamped at that swap. I April I think that I might forego selling and just go to visit with people and buy a bit.

Hello Ted,

Thanks for sharing your photos with the forum. When I start giving presentations again, if you don't think that I'm going to use your photos, hah!, wake up and smell the coffee! Due credit will be given, of course.

Thanks!

Randall Kohn
