Not a community tank was thinking of adding a couple pairs of Apisto's or a group of 5-6 young apisto's let them pair off the only other fish in the tank maybe some tetras that stay away from the apisto's but that is it?? Any ideas??

Only reason for asking I have seen several videos where its pretty clear there is more then just one type of apisto from what I have experience so far if I were to put as an example 2 pairs of triple reds in the same tank odds are great something will go wrong.

I would just keep a pair with some tetras. You get the best behaviors out of them that way, IMO.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
