apistogrammoides spawn

anybody know what color fertile apistogrammoides eggs are supposed to be . mine spawned in a film canister , all the eggs are white . i was under the impression they were red if fertile . also, i keep them with Poecilocharax weitzmani , should i expect to have problems with the tetras eating fry? or are these fairly safe?

Colour of the freshly laid eggs has very little to do with whether they are fertile or not. Essentially, the eggs' colour depends on species and also the food the fish eats. Only after the eggs have been laid for some time and they failed to develop would we see some white hairs on the spoiled eggs...
Thus, white/pale and newly laid eggs can never imply that they are not fertilized. Red eggs do not mean they are fertile, too.
