Apistogramma ? - Please help me with an I.D.

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and have recently discovered the wonder of owning these wonderful little fish. I so far have the Triple Red Cockatoos, Sunburst Cockatoos, Agazzizis Tefers and the following little guy. I bought 2 of them, not certain that they were male and female, and unfortunately the one died after I had an oops with my DIY co2 system. I've spoken to a whole lot of knowledgeable people here in SA and so far no one has a clue as to what type of Apisto it is, so I'm asking if anyone here will be able to identify it for me.

I appreciate any help.

It looks like a resticulosa-complex species; probably A. sp. Wangenflecken/Cheek-spots, based on the strongly bowed vertical bars.
