Apistogramma miua'

These are my Apisto miua' parents and fry. The fry are a little difficult to see but are beneath the female. Parents are wild caught.

Congratulations, Tom, this is a species I want to try again sometime. BTW how are the apistos I sent you doing? My female now has a 2nd batch of fry. I'd love to get some fry from your fish to mix with my F1s.

Could you tell us what kind of water they bred in?

The water parameters are pH 4.8 TDS 110 Temp 76º F 24º C . I use RO water only. No mixing with tap water.
Mike, the fish you sent had a huge spawn. Then most died after a water change. Not sure what happened there since none of my other fish were affected. Then the female got a mouth rotting disease that didn't respond to any medicines so she died. The big male just died. So I have about 8 fish left. They are just getting to spawning age. Hopefully they will spawn soon. I definitely plan to send you some.
