Hello can someone please give me some tips as far as water parameters for Megaptera breeding?

Anyone who has spawned them before or has experience with them.

Regards

I’ve had my pair of Apistogramma Megaptera F1 spawn a few times. In my opinion fairly easy to breed, but they can get quite agressive. I think my water parameters were ph 6-0-6.5 with the kh at arround 2-3 i believe. Temp was arround 25-26 degrees celcius.

Anything else you would like to know?

Last month I had my wild pair produce around 80 freeswimming fry in peat-filtered soft "blackwater" with a pH of around 4.7.
So obviously they are not very choosy about the pH.
A few of the fry:

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
