Apistogramma MacMasteri Sexing

Hello All,

I have recently purchased a pair of Apistogramma MacMasteri. However I am now worried that I have 2 males. I have attached 2 photos. The larger colourful one I have is the male. However it is the smaller less colourful one i am questioning This is the female I hope. and this oneI hope is the male

Domestic bred or wild fish? How large are the fish? Wild females rarely show much red on the caudal edges.

Both are domestic bred. The larger one, male 6cm. The smaller one is 3.5cm.

Small one is probably a young male - more red on the "shoulder" and caudal fin then I'd expect on a young female.
