Apistogramma juruensis

Just want to confirm that this is actually Schwarzkin/Black-chin and not juruensis as advertised:

It is hard to identify from the photo. I believe it is not A. juruensis for several reasons:

1. The chin-stripe (what little I can see) seems larger than that on A. juruensis.
2. The abdominal stripes are less regular than seen on A. juruensis.
3. The price (70,000 Won/US$70) is too low for this rare species. It should sell for about the same as the A. paucisquamis.​

My guess is that the fish is is A. alpahuayo (= A. sp. Schwarzkinn/Black-chin). A. alpahuayo is commonly sold as "A. juruensis".

There are several other Korean stores selling Juruensis "Black Chin." My guess is they all came together in the same shipment.

I agree with Mike, it's the Apistogramma Sp. Schwarzkinn, now also called Apistogramma Alpahuayo and yes, they are sold and even imported as Juruensis. The guys in Peru, Brazil and Columbia sell these fish under that name to the wholesalers and they in turn sell it to the stores... and no one ever checks to see if it's the correct species, so often times they end up in stores with the name the guys down in South America gave them.
