Thanks Steve, that's pretty extreme conditions. I had though that it would be warm, soft acid water. I'm not surprised your sand is so white, (and no algae) it's all been acid washed. In fact I'm not sure that is water, it sounds more like weak vinegar.

I've been the same with the iniridae. Haven't had a compatible pair until now(thanks to Mark who had a spare female).The good news is they have got eggs now so I have been keeping my fingers crossed for the last couple of days.
